Since 1999 “Women’s Alliance” is carrying on close educational work with law-enforcement structures. To make cooperation with militia more effective and structural specialists of the Organization have taken part in two probation trainings in 2002.
Training in the frames of the project of the international organization “Winrock International” aimed at prevention of women and girls trade in the Russian Far East and in Siberia financed by the US Agency on International Development (USAID) took place in the Center for Aesthetical Education in Blagoveschensk on July 20-21, 2002.

Regional Social Organization “Vostok-Zapad: ZhIP” is opening the new section “Environment” at the portal “Woman and Society”. The main target of the section is to attract attention of the society and first of all of women themselves to the things that happen around us and from which we are not protected and that affect our subconsciousness: when we manage to respect ourselves – we will learn to see the things that are disgracing us.
Training seminar on the subject: “Preventive measures on domestic and social violence” (multi-disciplinary approach) took place in the frames of the Forum.

Resource http://www.owl.ru/english/ is unique because it is the first Russian women’s informational resource and exists in Internet since six years and is archiving the maximum amount of information about activities of women’s movement in Russia and now it is the only channel to the international women’s community – weekly renewal of the English version!
League of women voters while continuing its activities took part on the Seventh Festival of social projects. Yearly Festival of social projects took place for the seventh time in Novosibirsk on June 30, 2002.
This summer women escaped from brothels and dens of other countries will get a possibility to rest and take a deep breath in a special shelter apartment in St-Petersburg. It will be the first shelter of this type in Russia.
July 15 in Ekaterinenburg started the three-days seminar on training of social services workers who will render emergent and preventive psychological help measures to victims of domestic violence.
St-Petersburg crisis center for women - one of the first social organizations in St-Petersburg celebrated its 10th anniversary. Center supports victims of violence. Center has been established to render psychological support for victims of violence. Crisis Center is working at present as remedial organization.
