"Women's initiative" is realizing the project "Social and psychological rehabilitation of persons released from imprisonment" under support of the European Community (in the frames of the program of European Initiative in the field of democracy and human rights).

Sverdlovsk regional social organization "Against women's unemployment" (Ekaterinburg) has been registered since 1998 and has been working in close contact with Ural Association of Refugees (UAR) and consulting mainly its contingent about situation on the local job market, on labor legislation, employment etc.

Center started its activities on 24 February 2001. During this time more that 500 requests have been registered.
