V International Conference on ethics and environmental policy "Business style and stable development"

Participants of the regularly scheduled session of the regional commission on women's situation improvement issues discussed the report about the social and economical situation of women in Voronezh region in 2001.

We use words "municipal policy" in the sense that we - social organizations and energetic women - find it important that municipal power bodies and community know about us and pay attention to our activities. We consider politics as changes, initiated from "the bottom", but for all that we mark out the gender constituent because we try to set up the problems that are concerning women directly.

League of women voters while continuing its activities took part on the Seventh Festival of social projects. Yearly Festival of social projects took place for the seventh time in Novosibirsk on June 30, 2002.

We have the honour to inform you that on 13-14 February 2003 Tallinn will host the Third Baltic Sea Women's Conference on WoMen and Democracy with the Ministry of Social Affairs of Estonia as the main organiser.
