Center has been established to render psychological support for victims of violence. Crisis Center is working at present as remedial organization.

Model legislation has been developed to surmount the imperfection of the present criminal and civil legislation and/or to improve existing laws about domestic violence. It is developed for legislative bodies and organizations supporting the adoption of gender specific and comprehensive legislation in the sphere of domestic violence.

Family and domestic violence remains serious problem in Russia: according to the statistics, 40% of grave crimes are committed at home.
