What do you think about different aspects of women's leadership in politics, social life and business in Russia today?

I think that our society does not deserve yet that women come to politics. Women already proved that they could move mountains in social life and in business - which means the spheres where they can go forward relying only on themselves, trusting themselves and gathering around them like-minded people. Nevertheless, the political machine is working now only to break down women who fell there.

What is your opinion of the initiative "Vital Voices"?

Vital voices of people are always interesting because they reflect real people's but not dictated by the political situation needs. I as director of the Crisis Center cannot understand why it is not the right time now to solve problems of violence against women. I would like to speak about the problems of sexual violence loud and open: violence against children, sexual harassment, about trade of people for sexual exploitation purpose, about sexual violence in the war areas. I love my country very much. I want that people live without fear. I am talking about what we should correct right now to let somebody to live in this country in 100 years.

What is your personal or your organization's contribution to support and promotion of women?

Our main contribution is that our Center exists already since 7 years. They did not break us down, did not destroy. We are here; we are working in spite of all difficulties. Our friends are helping us and we get new friends every year. We are building the world, free of violence, and more and more people believe in this idea.

What is the target group of your support?

We are supporting everybody. Our statistics show that 96% of our clients are women and children.

What actions could help the society to change existing stereotypes standing in the way of women's self-realization?

To believe in themselves.

What is your view of the ways of involvement of women into political, economical and social life of the country?

To support each other. To stand firmly for their opinions and rights.

What forms of partnership are possible between women leaders of political and commercial structures and women's social initiatives?

Very different. It depends on specific conditions. The main thing is wish for cooperation.
