25th of November is the International day of protection of women from violence

 General Assembly of the United Nations has declared 25th of November as  the International day of struggle for liquidation of violence against women and has suggested to governments, to the international organizations and the nongovernmental organizations to carry out during this day the actions directed on attraction of attention of the public to this problem. Annually in Russia the last Sunday of November celebrate Day of Mother for this reason all news agencies write about the actions devoted to this holiday. But about violence against women write basically activists of women's movement.
