Taimyr Association of Businesswomen called upon citizens of the region to participate more actively in the elections of the Governor of Krasnoyarsk Region

"Women's initiative" is realizing the project "Social and psychological rehabilitation of persons released from imprisonment" under support of the European Community (in the frames of the program of European Initiative in the field of democracy and human rights).

"Women voters coalition" was established in 1999 by five organizations (AzhIZ, Crisis center for women and children, publishing house "Malvina", MEAzhV, Feminist League) and by several physical persons. Mission of the "Women voters coalition" is increasing of number of women on all power levels.

This year Russia received the 50th Anniversary Congress of the World Association of Women Entrepreneurs (F.C.E.M.) that took place 14 - 22 September in St-Petersburg and Moscow.

19 September 2002 the Session of the League of Women Voters and regularly scheduled studies at the School of Women's Leadership and Parliamentarism took place in Tula. Session was dedicated to learning of elective technologies and electoral legislation.

Greeting to the delegates and guests of the 50th International Congress of the World Organization of Women Entrepreneurs that is held for the first time in Russia.

From 400 pretenders to the title "Autolady-2002" 50 women took part in the competition. The winner was housewife from Moscow Larissa Kulikova.

Kamensk-Ural division of the Ural Women Association supported the municipal action on collecting funds for building of the Perinatal Center.
