International Women's Centre «Woman's Future»
Russia Moscow (started in 1990) is one of the first non- - governmental
organizations in a new Russia. IWC works in co-operation with the UN Information
Department and UN Information Centre in Moscow in to develop a Model of
an independent non-governmental organization, which will, in fact, correspond
to the development processes. By the decision of the UN secretariat and
UNESKO IWC has been included into the list of the « World Decade of Culture
Development» (1988-1997) executors.
The Centre's main objectives are fulfilled through the different
of its work, specific and programs, including
Children's programs under
general motto « Children in a crisis».
Children's 'homes' patronage, rendering assistance to the children's
and financial assistance to the children of poor income families,
various children's competitions holding.
The Centres activity is that of humanistic nature.
