WOMEN'S CONGRESS OF KOLA PENINSULA
MAIN AIMS:
to focus public attention on social
position and real rights of women, promotion and encouragement of women's
initiatives, assistance of individual women and women's organizations in
realizing their projects,assistance in getting of information,
access to international and local inform-resource, improvement of educational level of
women in computer's technology,promotion of educational level on women's
rights and political sphere,realization of own programs and projects,building up and development of effective
regional network of women's organizations. MAIN ACTIVITIES:
Women's Congress of Kola Peninsula
arranges and coordinates the activity of women's groups in different directions,
providing an informational and educational assistance.
This work is realized in following programs:
Educational Centre for women's development. Shelter for women who are subjected
to violence. Confidance phone-line for women. "Special" child (mothers of children-invalids). Mothers of large families and mothers
without husbands. Club "Retro" for erderly women. Women for environmental safety. Problems of family planning. Legal and gender education of young
women. Women with restrictive possibilities
(women-invalids). Women and mass media.
