The Blue Bird Program Development and Consultation Center is a non-profit non-governmental organization based in Vladivostok in the Russian Far East. Our organization aims to assist in the development of a democratic society in the Russian Far East. Blue Bird's programs include: an English-language environmental education studio for school children; a methodological department specializing in creative approaches to education and organizational development; consultation services for women's organizations and for individual women experiencing discrimination, violence and psychological stress.

What we do:

• We develop programs dealing with environmental ethics, non-violence, the formation of environmental consciousness, personal growth and the realization of one's creative potential.
• We facilitate workshops for teachers and various professional groups, in particular for women.
• We participate in programs to translate and publish environmental educational materials.
• We conduct seminars and workshops on ecological processes and principles.
  

We are interested in finding partners in order to:

• Develop joint environmental educational programs and exchanges of environmental educators.
• Create a crisis center for women survivors of violence.
• Conduct seminars on self-esteem for sexual minorities.
• Conduct joint seminars on ecology.
• Conduct joint seminars on leadership strategies for environmentalists.
• Develop programs and conduct joint seminars for non-governmental organizations on topics of organizational development.
